Girls Weekend to Salado
I am very blessed to have such a great relationship with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. This weekend my mother-in-law wanted to take us away for the weekend to a bed in breakfast in Salado. We left Friday morning and stayed the night and came back Sat. evening.
We got in Fri about lunch time and ate at the Stagecoach Inn, we'd heard great things about it, it was interesting to say the least, Stephanie is not a antique kind of person, so she was a little creeped out by the oldness of it. We shopped the rest of the day and then tried to eat at The Range at the Barton House, but, we ended up walking out. Wendy told them it was too pricey, lol, Steph and I were totally embarrassed. We ended up at Adela's, which was a quaint little place. I actually walked away not buying much, just a Mimi sign for my mom for Christmas and some fun bracelets, but Charley got a new fabulous zebra and pink blanket from Nani that will go great with her new carseat cover! On our way home after a little melt down from Charley, we stopped at Collin Street Bakery and picked up some yummies!
